Higher temperature increases the effectiveness of salt therapy vs. the cooled environment of traditional salt rooms. In reality, cooling the salt rooms is to keep humidity low and to protect the salt décor from deterioration, not to create a “cave-like” environment as many “experts” claim. Warm temperature helps to open the pores of the skin and increase the volume of air breathed in.
